I became an Outlook Express subscriber back in the old webtv days and frankly I miss it. Right now I’m using Gmail but only because there is nothing I have found any better.I would drop it in a minute to get my OE back.

A much more efficient approach is to use a backup software such as EdgeSafe PST2PST backup.It takes the backup incrementally, so it is very fast… EdgeSafe also works while outlook is open, so you do not need to close Outlook and wait for the backup to happen.

I am trying to send a message using windows mail. However it asks for information about my ougoing and incoming servers, i.e pop3 and all this stuff that means nothing to me. I use yahoo as my default email and I have no idea how to acquire this information.

They are just doing it so you have mail and a facebook style thing all in one, maybe they want the facebook traffic and this is how they trick you into it. Personaly i don’t eat that facebook/ myspace type activity.

You can use the Windows Easy Transfer. You can transfer files and folders, E-mail settings, such as contacts and MESSAGES, Program settings , User accounts and settings, Internet settings and favorites, Music, pictures, and videos.

I’d stick to outlook, much better, ’stick to what you know’ if you get the chance, get Apple’s version of Mail, it’s awesome.

I mean what is the difference between the mail folder and Storage Folder. Is it that the mails not in Storage Folders are kept in the server and not my computer? I am really confused between these two. Please help me to sort out with that…

I recently lost a year of outlook data. I don’t want to pay $$$ for some huge backup suite. I simply want my outlook backed up every night to a file like a .pst. Any ideas?
